Rich's Statement

My name is Rich Forsman, and I’m challenging Greg Rothman to be your next State Senate representative in Pennsylvania Senate District 34.
If elected, I plan to bring practical, common-sense leadership to Harrisburg. I’m focused on the everyday issues families are dealing with right now: raising the minimum wage to a livable level, lowering healthcare costs, making housing more affordable, and expanding access to higher education. If you work hard and play by the rules, you should be able to build a good life right here in South Central Pennsylvania.
Working Pennsylvanians deserve a strong voice in Harrisburg, and I plan to be that voice. I’m running to bring practical leadership to Harrisburg and to work with anyone willing to put our communities first.

Why He fights for the people

It is time to restore dignity to work. For too long, Pennsylvania’s minimum wage has remained stagnant while the cost of living has soared. Rich is fighting to raise the wage to ensure every family can afford housing, healthcare, and groceries. We aren't just fighting for a paycheck; we are fighting for a fair shot at the American Dream

Returning Wealth to The Community

For too long, the wealth generated by Pennsylvania workers has been siphoned off to Wall Street. Rich believes in a 'bottom-up' economic approach that prioritizes local infrastructure, vocational training, and grants for community projects. By returning wealth to the community, we give every resident the resources they need to build a stable and prosperous future

Affordable Healthcare

Healthcare is a fundamental right, not a luxury reserved for the few. Rich is committed to lowering out-of-pocket costs by tackling high premiums, rising deductibles, and the skyrocketing price of prescription drugs. By expanding access to quality care in both rural and urban communities and advocating for transparency to hold insurance companies accountable, Rich aims to ensure that no Pennsylvanian has to choose between their health and their financial stability.

Affordable Housing

Safe, stable housing is the foundation of a strong community. Rich believes that no Pennsylvanian should have to choose between paying rent and buying groceries. We are fighting to increase the availability of quality homes that working families can actually afford, ensuring our neighborhoods remain vibrant and accessible to everyone who calls them home
